TargetCompress (accessible at targetcompress.in) operates strictly using client-side WebAssembly (Wasm) and HTML5 technologies (including FFmpeg.wasm, PDF-Lib, and Canvas). File processing happens directly in your browser. Your videos, images, PDFs, and documents are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, or analyzed on any external server or cloud backend.

2. Website Analytics and Advertising

We clearly distinguish between file processing (which happens 100% locally on your device with no file upload data transfer) and standard website operation telemetry:

• Google AdSense: To maintain this service as completely free without subscriptions or paywalls, third-party vendors including Google use cookies to serve non-intrusive advertisements based on visits to this and other websites. Users may opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
• Vercel Analytics & Speed Insights: We collect aggregated web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, page response times) to monitor application uptime. These analytics do not collect user file contents, filenames, or personally identifying data.

3. Browser Storage

TargetCompress uses browser session state strictly to remember your active tab or tool selection. No file data, converted documents, or personal information is ever permanently stored in browser cookies or persistent database storage.
